We reserve the right to refuse any sale.
By making a deposit you are accepting our Term of Sales Policy in its entirety
This Term of Sales Policy applies to ALL goats, sheep, cattle and/or pigs for sale. Singles will not be sold to a home without at least one other animal of the same species. These are all herd animals and require same species companionship to thrive.
A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit (amount to be determined depending on sale) is require to hold any animal listed for sale. Buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses and any requested extra blood testing or veterinary expenses.
No reservation deposit is necessary to be placed on our reservation list. After birth, non-refundable deposit can be made by check or PayPal. If using PayPal, funds must be sent using “Friends and Family”. Upon birth you will be contacted about your reservation, you then have 24 hours to respond with your confirmation and deposit.
The pickup time and or shipping arrangements must be negotiated and agreed upon. For goat kids we generally wean by weight vs age as we feel that gives them the best start for their new homes. Animals will be picked up on the date agreed upon or deposit will be forfeit. Any cancelation of sale on purchaser’s end will also result in a forfeit of deposit.
Animals will be sent to their new homes in good health with no known issues. Once an animal leaves our property, its health and wellbeing are solely the responsibility of the purchaser.
Our Cattle herd is tested negative for Johnes, BLV, BVD, Q-Fever, Brucellosis and TB as of 11/02/2021
Our Goat and Sheep herd is tested neg for CAE (OPPV), CL, Johnes, Q-Fever and Brucellosis as of 2/02/2022 and TB as of 11/02/2021
We cannot guarantee how an animal will mature. There are no guarantees of potential. Each of us accepts that risk with every animal, we purchase.
All goat kids disbudded are given Tetanus Antitoxin at disbudding. Wethers are banded at or over 8 weeks of age to give their bodies time to mature and will be given Tetanus Toxoid.
